Two Cars on a Country Road
emotions cracked spreading spiderwebs,
windshield fractured earthy road.
hurled stones heart broken glass,
scratched soul dented armor.
confusion and blindness follows,
spinning maelstrom of your anger.
ignored in your departure,
hastily traveling opposite ways.
shooting glances rearview mirror,
never to catch your eye.
ever forgotten,
alone.
