I am not nourishment

For I give nothing but colour
I require energy to continue
But I am nothing but colour

You buzz with energy
Violent and uncaring
As to what you electrify

Or allow to run dead.

For energy has no need for colour -
It doesn't require any frivolities.

Like them?
Why, naturally.
Energy should not be black!
