Truth?
How many kisses and hugs?
How many real?
How many partners in bed?
How to conceal?
How many tears? How many fears?
Count on one hand?
How many times have you hidden away?
Felt lost in hourglass sand?
How many people ask truth of you?
And how many do you honour with it?
Do you give to many small pieces?
Not trusting your heart to just one?
Having your heart broken, is it pain?
Beyond reason and help?
Do I know? Do I know love?
Warmth of a meaningful embrace?
One just for me?
To protect, heal and find salvation with?
Loneliness is as thick as the darkest night.
