TRAIN RIDE

A lonely child

TRAIN RIDE
RIDING ON A TRAIN I CAN’T CONTROL
LOOKING BACK ON A LIFE I CAN’T DENY
HIDDEN IN THE NIGHT IS A DUSTY ROAD THAT NEVER ENDS
IT’S IN THIS DARKNESS THAT I KNOW THIS TRAIN RIDE
WILL NEVER END
IT’LL JUST KEEP ROLLING DOWN THIS LONELY TRACK OF MY HEAVENLY
PAST
AND AS THE TORMENT OF MY PAST KEEPS HAUNTING ME
THE WRECKAGE OF MY POECTIC VOICES WILL KEEP CALLING ME
THEY CRY
DON’T BE SAD MY CHILD
FOR ALL THESE CRUEL THINGS THAT YOU’VE DONE TO ERASE
YOUR PAIN WILL ONE DAY BE NOTHING BUT A DISTANT
MEMORY
FOR ONE DAY VERY SOON
THIS TRAIN RIDE OF YOURS WILL REACH ITS FINAL LIFEFULLMENT RIDE
AS IT PULLS UP AND STOPS IN FRONT THE HEAVEN GOLDEN PEARLY GATE
