Toxic Frustration

A smog of toxic frustration

Suffocates the breath of aspiration.

The tiredness drowns out the hope,

How can anyone constantly cope?

The inner demons chew my tender heart

To create problems at every start.

It becomes a struggle against the self,

The greatest ever war in itself.

The smothering heaviness is crushing

The bubble of exasperation is bursting.

A feeling of darkness overwhelms,

Tossing me into frightening realms.

If only dreams were like stardust,

And hopes would never rust,

Then everlasting tranquility would illuminate

This insecure world where darkness dominate.

The End
