Tore Us Apart
I wear my heart on my hip
Trust on my sleeve
You keep the door locked but you want me to leave
Where are the keys?
You need me
I was the multiplication to your division
The key in your ignition
The impossible to your mission
The high school to your detention
And did I mention, since when
Did we break apart?
Before I blinked, it was dark
All alone in a park
There’s no electricity
There’s barely any spark
Please answer this question
What on earth tore us apart?
