Today, my thoughts are dandelion seeds
Escaping the cacophony of my mind
A million hopes and dreams,
Lost to the elements.

They bask in the soft glow,
The caress of the sun's arms
A merry little foxtrot
Twirling and twisting;
Pause for a minute, till-
Off they go,
Messengers of all things eternal

They ride along
The clouds of hope;
Frivolous, to be
Simply existing

Today, my thoughts are dandelion seeds
And they shall travel far and wide
Before they return to where they belong,
With a bow and a salute;
To the sun-kissed earth and my beating heart.

The End
