To Look and to See

Look at it.

Go on, look.

It is not as bad as it seems.

There are tangled truths and fragile fractures,

But it is not the end of the world.

Yes,  life can be cruel,

Filled with tragedy, unfairness and regret,

You're lonely,

You have no place,

You have nowhere to go.

But look,

Go on - look,

There's an opening for you somewhere,

There's a home for your ambitions and your soul.

Your hopelessness and despair shrouds you in blackness,

But of course, you cannot see in the dark.

Stretch out, walk blindly,

Fumble for the light switch.

You'll find it,

You'll turn it on,

You'll see.

The End
