Honor to some we do not Know

Poppies as red as blood
Stand guard to those who died, now covered in mud
The spillage of the now cold blood.

Broken guns lay scattered below,
But honor is bestowed,
On many we shall never know

Brave and right,
They watch out from the peaceful night

For this war is no more,
And they may rest as many before.

The End
