To Reap What We've Sown

It's about realising you've made mistakes and theres nothing you can do

I found these decisions sit ill with me

I need your help but you're lacking direction

Left out to dry in the cruel summer sun

A charred body lies, awaiting dissection

If only I had my way

If only it was up to me to decide

It seems like mistakes are made in my absence

The taste on my tongue is bitter because of you

Can't we make some sort of allowance

Is all well in the darkness where you've been

Are you still in a shock from what you've seen

I couldn't figure out why we turned down that road

If only we could've reaped what we had sown

These figures always playing tricks on me

I'm wondering how we could've made it work

These decisions stalk me, always haunting

I don't want to panic and turn berserk

Is all well in the darkness where you've been

Are you still in a shock from what you've seen

I couldn't figure out why we turned down that road

If only we could've reaped what we had sown

The End
