To one who returns

If all things on earth were at my command,
Orders met by obedient hands

Then you’ll return as I remand,
And never go away again.

If all things on earth were at my command,
Your needs met first in all my plans.

Then you and I will hotly devour,
Our hearts desires for hours and hours.

If all things on earth were at my command,
No day shall turn night, nor back again,
Till in your heart you understand,
My sovereign lover and best friend,
We have till death to fully treasure,
Our cherished earthly time together.

The End
