It just started on a normal night

Driving home with you

The hour's late but

We laugh the dawn away

The music is soft,

A mellow, heated chanting,

He claims he loves her.

He loves her so much.

She's the one

He says he needs

Together, they sing

Past the sunset.

You sing along to

This song I've never heard

You say you love her, need her

Though you're merely singing along

And I feel a knife

Between my ribs...

How I wish you were singing

For me.

The End
