I'm staring at the dawn, the skyline scorching at my eyes

I know now here comes the challenge ahead

And through this pain, I've never felt so alive

My will tossed and turned upon the whims of an iron fist

Dust clouds kicked up far away, we were never gonna win

I'm looking towards the target zone and the enemy within

Those resting forever, blood made to run and hell has arrived

But through the pain and command, I've never felt so alive

My heart beats at the press of distant buttons, do we stand a chance

I have fallen

I will crawl upon hell's floor

I look up to the sky

And see deceit in an unloving god's eyes

It's endless, hell has come and we're defenceless

We were warned, as the shadows barraged us senseless

We gave it all, but with little reward

But we must carry ever deeper, ever onward

I'm under the rain of fire, pain screeching out of the mouths of brothers

Unable and incapable, grief and guilt will take hold on heaven's shores

But I can't think of heaven on the steps of the devils door

Everything was lost for a dragon to devour

Lives traded and surrendered in the rush of the hour

I have fallen
