There are many thoughts
Which race through my mind
Most are calm and pleasant
But some are not so kind

Maybe she's a bitch
Maybe she's a whore
Maybe you're wasting your time
On something that's no more

I shake my head
In an earnest plea
To end these thoughts
Which still plague me

I remind myself
Of the wonderful things
Of the love she gives
And the happiness she brings

But I still can't help
To worry and doubt
Because I know what it's like
To live without

Prove me wrong
These thoughts in my head
So that we may move on
And leave the past for dead

The End
