This is every why

My memories collide

In the space where visions hide

Fingers on the pulse of yesterday

Trying to remember what I wanted to say

But words when they're not spoken

Lose their essence, become broken

Frustration feeds what you fear to feel

If you don't sense it, it isn't real

You want to know what I am feeling?

In truth, these emotions have me reeling

So I can't tell earth from sky

So I can't see the reasons why

You want to know why I stopped trying?

If I say I'm happy, I'd be lying

I am tired of half-truths, I won't deny

This is every reason, every why.

The End
