This Highway
Forces of various levels of evil
Several circles of hell
Coming together in the circle of our war
Allies intertwined like threads
Ropes in knots and pieces on the board
Rolling down this road
This highway and I don’t know what’s ahead
I’ve got friends alive in this war
Because they killed the others stone cold dead
Thrown into the middle
I’ve got to make a choice today
Thrown into the battle
Do I choose to fight, die, or become enslaved?
Rolling down this road
This highway and I don’t know what’s ahead
I’ve got friends alive in this war
Because they killed the others stone cold dead
Troops come to negotiate with a gun
Bullets fly and blood spills
Count the dead and the battles done
I feel victories today but the war can never be won
Because when we look at who’s standing
We’re broken
When we look at who’s still standing
There’s nothing left of us at all
Rolling down this road
This highway and I don’t know what’s ahead
I’ve got friends alive in this war
Because they killed the others stone cold dead
