This Addiction
You're more than a drug
Feel me breathing you in.
You're filling me up
Like the deadliest sin.
Your words are like poison
They cut me so deep.
But your voice is the one thing
That puts me to sleep.
Through all of the bitter
And all of the hate,
Your arms are the only place
That I feel safe.
You're more than a drug
This addiction's too strong.
Leaves apathy, emptiness
Whenever you're gone.
So kiss me and smother me
Drown me in love.
Just don't ever leave me
We all need our drugs.
