The Ultimatum

I gave you so much time
To change this fate
To show your scars
To open the gate

What did you do with my words?
Were they ever enough for you?
You should've never written down
The lies you knew were true

You can't turn your back on me
So much blood will be wasted
Now can't we stand and fight
To kill the darkness that we tasted
What is this grave we're walking toward?
Just leave now or give me your word

I gave you so much trust
To bring me light
To end this war
To make things right

What did you do with that sword?
And what about those truths we shared?
The ones that turned into lies
And now I wonder if you ever cared

Don't turn your back on me
So much blood will be wasted
Now can't we stand and fight
To kill the darkness that we tasted
What is this grave we're walking toward?
Just leave now or give me your word

Change this fate
Before I learn to hate
Change this fate
But now it's all too late
(I know what it is to hate)

You turned your back on me
So much blood is now wasted
Now can't I stand and fight
To kill the darkness that I tasted
What is this grave I'm walking toward?
I'm leaving now without your word

(This grave)
I'm leaving to change this fate
(This grave)
I'm leaving to change this fate

(This grave)
Oh you turned your back on me

The End
