Ripple

Part I - Shadows

I walk along the sides

Of the lonely highway

I don't know where it'll lead

When I get to the end

Hopefully I can rest there

I hope it's okay to say

That if hope were real

It'd find me there

I reached the town of Rut Springs

The buildings cast long shadows

Am I the catalyst?

The chosen one I may be

But is that enough to save me?

I hope it's okay to say

That if hope were real

It'd find me there

Part II- Reasonable Shame

I left the hotel the next day

It didn't go my way

I don't want to let you go

I don't know how to let you go

Stop talking to me for now

Try again some other time

Gag me

Part III- Realization

Fuck me

Well fuck you too

Nobody asked your goddamn opinion

Stuck up bitch

Shut up bitch!

See that ditch?

Why don't you die?

There's certain people you just don't talk to

So why'd I talk to you?

Get off my ass

Leave me be

Get outta my sight!

Slowly slipping away

You're death will make my day

So close your eyes and go away

Let this blade inside as you fade away

There are certain people that you avoid

So why didn't I avoid you?

Get away from me

Get outta my sight

Part IV- Just After Sunset

There's a drought down south

Up north it's a wasteland of snow

The perfect weather . . .

Where will I go

When the monster is revealed

and chasing me down?

I'll shack myself up

With a Winchester

and wait . . .

Just after sunset

It's perfect weather

For the beast

I avoided you

Now it's haunting me

If hope were real

I hope it'll find me here

I hope it's okay to say

Just after sunset

Lock your doors

The End
