The Threads Intertwining

It carries on the theme of mutually self-destructive love, being together in defiance of instinct

Seeing through the smoke of this room

Hoping to glance through the skin and see what's underneath

Muffled expressions and I begin to smile

I don't know why we're here but we love to stay

Unaware of the price both of us have to pay

I was content to remain, as the ghosts of the night trickle away

I stared into her eyes, expression on shallow depth impatient

But through the window I could sense she felt the same

We'll fly and we'll smile

We'll carry on and let the dreams echo in our heads

We'll touch and we'll feel, flesh tingling, blood warmer

Instantly we could feel everything underneath

The night long past morning, and the whirl of vision just starting to clear

Hanging on to noises and movements of times flurrying on by

Where are we going, where we did we stop to wonder

Now I can see her sweet reunion, corrupted under the spell of my hand

The strings cut, I've left her with little choice, and he must surely comprehend

But we are mutally complicit in the other's self destruction

We are both made for each other, we're both made to tumble and burn

We'll fly and smile

We'll carry on and let the dreams echo in our heads

We'll touch and we'll feel, flesh tingling, blood warmer

Instantly we could feel everything underneath

The End
