The Tale of Pat

I once bought a rat,

And named it little ol' Pat,

And sailed right over the ocean.

We flew across the sea,

On a fine western breeze,

And sailed on over the ocean.

We came across land,

And met a lovely jazz band,

After we sailed all over the ocean.

My sweet ol' Pat,

Left with a rat named Jack,

And they sailed back over the ocean.

Along the way,

Pat left to play,

And sailed back over the ocean.

My crazy ol' rat,

Married a cat,

And showed him all over the ocean.

Yes, he married a fellow,

Called lil' ol' Rob Dellow,

And now always sail over the ocean.

The End
