You Only Live Twice

From the realm we never knew,

Into this world we flew,

With tears, we felt the breath of life,

With tears, we knew its strife

You only live once, I've been told,

By dreamers young and sages old,

You only live twice, now I know,

At least my spirit tells me so.

Born in tears, we will die one day,

From the dawn of time, it's been this way,

But born in spirit, we will endure,

This I know, of this I'm sure.

You only live twice, no need for more,

To sail beyond that distant shore,

Death is but our tears last cry,

Before we learn the reason why.

The End
