Lost in euphoria
The spectrum flashing
Flickering across your eyes
You find beauty in the grey skies
Your mind open
Your eyes deceived
Someone unknown takes your hand
People around you become shadows
Burning, raging, a million urges
It runs in blood, refusing to disperse
One night, you're lost forever in time
The spectrum fades
Euphoria morphs to paranoia
A flash of rage
Beyond the point of backing down
A flash of white
Suddenly the thump of a beat
Becomes the beep of hospital machines
