The Song You'll Never Hear

The Songs You'll Never Hear

I thought about you today
And the songs you’ll never hear.
With minor calculations
To try and determine
If this song ever met your ears.

It left a disheartening pain
To know you’ll never read
The words that I write
And this story in-spite
Of your presence on every page.

But still I know I feel you.
I see you in my dreams.
You know more than I
And you’ll tell me, sometimes,
Of the things I have yet to learn.

You know the words I can’t speak
This secret I hold deep inside
And still, you support me
You help me and warn me
A constant friend by my side.

I am thankful for your life.

The End
