The Snail

To snub a snail?
How mistaken you are.
The snail may be slow,
But he need not rush.

He has less time than we do,
Yet has less to accomplish.
His main goal in life:
To avoid the beak or the shoe.

Our brain may be larger,
But he oozes common sense.
He knows the freedom to roam
For his home does not leave his side.

To snub a snail?
You judge him by his look.
Do not be fooled.
Deception hides under that shell.
