The smoky Haze and Gaze

you found me somewhere between eyelids fluttering &
a smoke of ashes.
cigarette smoke never looked so sexy
as it lingered between our bedroom eyes
and mouths that licked lips
so tantalizing.
I want to just reach out & grab a hold
& grip you close
in a grasp & exhale
of exasperated bliss.
