The Smile That Hisses (Poetry)

( I am no poet. And, I know it. I stick to prose, as my poetry blows. )

( This is a crude experiment. Enjoy. If possible. )

  • She blows kisses,
  • Like fire,
  • And she aims to kill.
  • She wants his heart,
  • So the blood will spill.
  •
  • Though she misses;
  • His heart, she'll fill.
  • It is a wicked art,
  • And a terrible thrill.
  •
  • I watch from afar,
  • Though it ain't me.
  • Anymore. Glee.
  • Wish it left a scar,
  • Even if I'm free.

  • I was her seventh.
  • I wander and I wonder.
  • I wanted out.

  • Don't wield love,
  • With shield in hand.
  • Won't fit like a glove.
  • Just wield, burn and... brand.
  •
  • Viewing no more.
  • A blur, at the core.
  • Tar.
  • Done eyes, unwise.
  • Sunrise, day, dawn.
  • Red firetruck.
  • Dead, dire luck.
  • They
  • Are
  • Gone.
  •
The End
