The SirenMature

A poem about the mythological Siren

Serenade.
tranquil wails
seducing.
beautiful
slashing talons.
doomed mortals,
A feast for three.
Upon the flesh,
they dine.
gorged upon mortality.
Entrails surround
as gore spills out.
tendons,bones,flesh
divided.
vitality absorbed
humanity consumed.
