The Rippling

Enter and soothe.
Level me out.

Kiss with silk.
Clench my hand.
Talk to me.

I fade.
Bring me back.
Tether us,
and pierce me.

Shake your innocence.
Chap your silk.
Be a big girl.
Don't lose yourself.

If you keep me,
and I breathe for a while,
whisper your weaknesses,
and I'll dress all your wounds.

Save me.
Keep smiling.
And when I stand,
I'll carry you on my back.

We'll swim out to sea.
The rippling scratching our skins.
And through the deep blues,
I'll look to you.
And when I start sinking,
you'll make me float.

The End
