The Reality

I have lived many lives

already firm in vague memories

concrete as the wind

they make me matter

pull me together

lift my soul.

If eons pass while I lie

abed, growing again

as always into life

nothing can dissipate me

the fire I am

is reborn.

Today I am whole

gathering wisdom

and feeling nothing

as the dentist drills

into my teeth

deep root canal fillings matter

to a carnivore.

Outside this room

walls are torn down

cities re-configure their status

like sparks leaving a fire

seeking new kindling

a fresh start

…in the beginning…

The End
