Something That Will Last Me Longer than a While

I like to sneak away

And sit down on the stool

With the black cushion that goes

When you sit on it.

I like to look at the ink on the paper

And make sense out of it

Like other people cannot.

I like to press down the plastic fakes

White and black alike.

All are not the same.

Some may imitate others

Just eight away

But they are still different.

I like to rotate my hand

On the swivel of my wrist

And twiddle my fingers

And make something constructive out of it.

That will last me more than a while.

The End
