Reflection

He fears the reflection,

Ensnared in deception, a criminal!

Trapped in flickering images,

Locked away by memories with a lifelong sentence,

A whim of reality?

Falling short of expectation,

His failure gnaws away at contentment,

Chaos spreads from within,

Insanity reigns supreme,

It seeps into his daily dream,

Scorned by revelation,

And loathed by those who once held him close,

Unable to cover up the lies,

The reflection trembles.

The End
