The Miracle of the Dawn
Out come those sharp clear rays of light,
Sending bleak empty darkness into full flight,
Bringing a wave of warmth and hope,
And beauty to make some turn from the rope,
A moment of sheer bliss, happiness and joy,
As though you can accomplish anything in the midst of this ploy,
A wonder unrecognised for how it surrounds,
Men and women all around,
Sends hearts runing into arms to be held,
Never to break from this unique meld,
For miracles untold, uncounted or undrawn,
We must think to the those first minutes at the break of the dawn,
