My Universe

I’ve been thinking.

Reflecting.

It’s you, me,

and the universe.

Feeling.

It’s love, pain,

and loneliness.

Here.

On Earth.

I feel like the tide and that

you’re like the moon.

I sway to your soundless music,

reflect it in waves upon sand.

And you’re over me,

watching me,

whispering.

See?

On the fields?

Those flowers whose faces are

turned to the

sun when it’s out?

I’m one.

You’re the sun.

Oh, Light and Warmth, my

heart is

bleak without you.

There.

Out in Space.

You’re those fathoms, you

steal my gravity.

And I’m dizzy,

and lost,

till you come,

and I’m held.

Fear.

Of a break.

You’re a black hole

...

and I’m the closest star.

Help

...

Though I follow,

choose myself.

Quiet,

and Chaos.

Was I meant to be this way?

?

Where’s my logic?

It’s escaped me.

Beauty.

In the blackness.

The Northern Lights are dancing and you

take my breath away.

Sighing.

I’m enchanted.

And when the sun has risen,

I know it’s you I need.

Shining.

Dimpling.

Solar, lunar, astral: that’s

the context of my world.

Rivers.

Twining tightly.

The backdrop and the scenery

are you.

So.

Are we going?

You can take me where you like, you know,

and I won’t mind,

as long’s you’re there...

But.

One thing I’ll say.

The world is grey.

You’re Sun and Moon and

Stars and Space.

My Universe.

The End
