The Line Dividing our Worlds

Poem describing a beautiful chaotic day of rain and cloud

A cold gale blew my way,
And drew attention to the castles of air;
A breathless scene held my gaze,
A great dragon flew between towers of haze;
Emerging from the line of water diving our worlds,
Announced by countless heralds,
A fire of water it breathed,
And wings of air it flew;
The joy of life it gave,
And awe of nature it inspired;
Then drama anew unfolded ,
A spear of light struck its roaring throat;
And soon the moment of beauty was done,
The beast dispelled revealing the heavenly sun.

The End
