Meeting your Maker

A Knight must face a dragon and a Princess must be rescued. Who would've guessed?

Sparkling cage bars, slick with blood and gore.
A dragon restless, cursed to fight forevermore.
A Knight, in armor, sent to slay the wicked beast.
A princess, lost, desperately in need.

Riding out on his War Horse,
looking valiant indeed.
The Knight charged forth,
Urging his noble steed.

"Faster! Faster! 'Tis for love we fight!"
But the horse pulled on the reigns and screamed in fright.
Before the brave soldier, stretching at least 50 feet high,
The great lizard strode forth, fire flickered in his eyes.
And the Knight suddenly thought:
"Oh god. I'm going to die."
