The Invisible Spider Had Returned
In the grimace,
Of a destroyed destiny,
Withered venom bleached skin
Coated my torn life.
--------------------------
--------------------------
Rose petal blankets
Blurring to blood
Closed the curtains
Of my sight forever.
---------------------------
--------------------------
The invisible spider had returned
On my exhaled air--
Back to spin the last strand
Of damnation.
--------------------------
-------------------------
Slinking down my throat,
It webbed my rib cage.
Strumming it's strings
With eight legs--
To it's beat I succumbed.
--------------------------
-------------------------
The spider left me living,
With a sensitive sting,
As it wore me in the flesh,
As a gory paper mache dress.
---------------------------
--------------------------
Cauterized to a cast,
As the spider's permanent attire,
I walk through hell--
Feeling every burn from the fire.
