The Ghosts That We Knew

Until death do us part,

will you steal my heart,

and all that with it go.

My soul for you yearns,

and my mouth it learns,

to be kind unto my foe.

You taught me all,

but triggered the fall,

now I live in the wake of your strife.

But the ghosts that we knew,

will flicker from view,

and we'll live a long life.

The End
