The fire that's lit

I skip and dance,

Through the rain,

Because nothing else,

Has caused me such pain,

My lips are cold,

My face is white,

The agony inside,

Caused me fright,

I stop dead still,

In the rain,

My heart aching,

From the pain,

Waiting and wishing,

For love to hit,

I turn to see,

The fire that's lit.
