The Final Stroke

Left on the wake,
In the rolling waves I find you,
So helpless and distressed,
At the world you lost yourself to,
In passing you might be
Another killer of my dreams,
But the risk is so subjective,
I find it, when the time is right,
When I can fly the speed,
Promising the world and taking the soul,
Ride my mystery, little foal.
I’ll teach you how to lose the fight,
Behold, you’ve gained that distant sight,
I’ll show you the cost of being mine,
Forever and a day too far...
Cruelty is such a craft,
Lover and friend,
Twice in my head,
Forever in my heart,
Dead in my arms,
I practice my art.

The End
