Sensitive dependence
on initial conditions,
the essence of chaos,
                                            Loneliness.
begins with two variables,
two non-linear evolution
equations,trajectories,
                                             You and I
running simultaneously,
amplifying exponentially,
evolving quite rapidly,
                                             with unquestionable yearning
change large scale
atmospheric motion. 
                                              doubt nothing.

The difference grows rapidly
until these two variables,
these two non-linear evolution
equations, trajectories,
                                                 You and I
behaving quite differently,
amplifying eventually,
compounding rather wonderfully,
                                                 into the approaching storm
alter the course
of the weather forever. 
                                                fear nothing.

This is a found poem and a poem for two voices. The essence of chaos is the Butterfly Effect. I've rewritten this poem several times and might rewrite it again, depending on my mood, of course.
