The Edge

I'm standing on the edge of the unknown

I don't know where to go

I don't know where my path lies

This vertigo, I cannot stand up right

So I tremble and tremble

But I will never fall

Can you catch a falling star I wonder,

Not that I will leave my darkened sky

Yet still it's good to know

That beneath's a tree with blooming arms

I am numb, I am immovable

The world is swirling beneath my feet

I cannot hear the words of the voices

So I remain silent just aswell

I'm standing on the edge of the unknown

I don't know where to go

I don't know where my path lies

This vertigo, I cannot stand up right

So I tremble and tremble

But I will never fall

The shreakings of the ravens...

How they love me, yet they will eat me when I am dead

Well I do not blame them...

I'll help them, as they've helped me

They are keeping me alive with the flackerings

Of their feathers and accompanying eyes

They are me closer than anyone can become

So do not even try, for I care not at all

I'm standing on the edge of the unknown

I don't know where to go

I don't know where my path lies

This vertigo, I cannot stand up right

So I tremble and tremble

But I will never fall

See how I am staring into this night of torments

I have no words to utter but empty meanings

Of a shallowhearted sigh

Yet that is good enough for my ravens

Well I am not longing for a saviour's touch

No, I think I love my solitude

I'm starting to like this isolation

I am cold to the core of my soul

I chose to be the  lone

The End
