Do you remember what it feels like to wake up?

Can you see inside your eyes the clouds that you can't catch?

This is not a surfacing into a familiar atmosphere, with oxygen.

This is one last feeble glance

at the warped clouds hanging above the lake.

A step, a moment of falling,

and a crash into the coldness, which every time you forget.

This time, you've forgotten to breathe.

Monday. 6AM.
