A/N: Separate three-line poems.

-

1.
did anybody ever tell you
that sometimes we're just
growing up this way

2.
maybe someday you'll
start talking to my face
not the skin i live in

3.

i love you more than you
could ever possibly fathom
and yet i'll never tell you.

4.
getting out of bed is
autonomous at this point
but my mind still fights back

5.
i sleep with no socks on
or a necklace, really, because
i would be too comfortable otherwise

6.
hello, i am a poet
i'm far too loyal
and i'm waging wars

7.
if you have a mental illness,
be selfish - otherwise
you'll never do anything for yourself.

8.
don't be a parent
unless you're ready for it
don't doom your children

9.
only shoot those who run
we're bulletproof the day we're born,
we just get weaker over time

10.
the sun rises agin each morning.
with it, you wake from slumber.
someday you will not see the sun.
