Note: This was a poem I wrote in year 7, but I just found some of my old work, and so decided to post this ^_^

Wonder is sometimes the simplest of things
A frozen river, or a bell that rings,
Be silent and listen, and you will find,
The number of wonders that fill the mind.

The very first flower, appearing in spring,
The enchanting song that the thrush may sing.
A single snowflake that falls from the sky,
A beautiful butterfly, fluttering by.

All these are wonders, you will see,
That the earth can share with you and me.
For there are wonders all around,
You just need to listen, for the smallest sound.

The End
