The Beast Inside Me

Shaking body, Burning mind
Agonizingly, My blood shall rise
Eyes of the deepest red
I feel the rage stored inside
No fighting
No running
No hiding
The beast has awoken,
It wants revenge
Bruised and shattered,
Adrenaline of anger,
Ecstasy of the highest scorn
You've no where to go as this monster takes hold
Your screams are silenced
Your Tears invisible
Ringing ears that you hold and cry,
Fading vision you try to find
Walking with no path,
past faces so familiar
An insidious smile, rests upon my lips
No one can hear me screaming to be saved,
Saved from myself.
