Chapter 18Mature

My name echoed through the crowd
as I broke the grips of the cowards
A familiar face pushed through
and a breath of relief escaped my conscious
as my old comrade was presented before me

He'd lived through our massacre
and a small glimmer cascaded through me
that a reunion of the past could be feasible

But the look of joy
was followed immediately
by pain

Of the old four
The Lost Ones had gained two
And in our eyes
We bore the same pain

The End
