Ten Little Ants

one by one they leave

Ten little ants were marching in a line,

One lost its way and then there were nine.

Nine little ants went out on dates,

One got married and then there were eight.

Eight little ants looked up to heaven,

One peeked down and then there were seven.

Seven little ants went swimming in cake mix,

One got baked and then there were six.

Six little ants were near a beehive,

One got stung and then there were five.

Five little ants were on the floor,

One got crushed and then there were four,

Four little ants were walking up a tree,

One lost its grip and then there were three.

Three little ants were playing in goo,

One got stuck and then there were two.

Two little ants were eating a bun,

One ate too much and then there was one.

One little ant was out in the sun

He walked under a magnify glass and now there are none.

The End
