The first in my poetry series 'The childhood of soulless suicide.'

My life is so easy to peel away,

Like the temporary tattoos I plaster on,

To cover up the scars,

Roses, stars, love-hearts, butterflies,

Smile, Smile, Smile,

With clenched teeth,

Smiling through your pain,

I wish my life was permanent,

Needlepoint, ink and blood,

Ink running into my scars,

They think I put them on to be different,

They don't know what I have to hide

The End
