Tears We Can No Longer Cry
My lack of a view makes itself known
We're locked in a cycle of loathing and lust
It's a suicide trap, it's a broken feeling
It's bound to turn us all to dust
I wanted to befriend a world that smacked me in return
My wounded pride and bruises testament to failure
I'm just as scared and lonely as the rest of them
I'm just as flawed and broken as the best of them
These are our times
Blood and the tears we no longer cry
Shed what's left and give in
Look to the sky and take it in
Devoid of anything human I walk on
We're locked in a cycle of despair that's heaven sent
My brother turns his back on me finally
We're devoid of anything but our torment
The might of our pride and strength
A brittle kiss shattering fragile hearts
I'm eager to please as the rest of them
I'm eager to die like the rest of them
These are our times
Blood and the tears we no longer cry
Shed what's left and give in
Look to the sky and take it in
